ELECTIONS
The terms of office for your current officers expire
this year:
Terry Pishko, President
Michael Milne, Vice-President
Tammy Cummings, Secretary
Beverly Biziewski, Treasurer
will continue through out 2011
And one board member, Chuck
Pishko, completes his three year term as well.
All have served for numerous years but have expressed willingness
in continuing to serve the Estate Fish Bay Owners’ Association. The Board, acting as a nominating
committee, will present this slate for your consideration to be voted on at the
May 14h Annual Meeting.
Nominations will also be accepted at the meeting and we encourage any
member if interested in serving on the board to please let us know.
Our major activity which began in 2009 continues
through 2011. With $480,000 awarded by the
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration - Coastal & Marine Habitat Restoration Division under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and
approximately $20,000 provided by the association, we have installed paving,
swales, gutters, gabion basket retaining walls and culverts all with the
primary purpose of erosion control to
reduce watershed runoff and protect coastal & marine habitats. The contractor should be finished this month
but monitoring of the sites will continue throughout 2011 to evaluate the
effectiveness of the erosion control measures.
